Review of "Miller's View: A Look into the Darkness"

In the quiet town of Hammond, Louisiana, Detective Jonathan Miller is at it again. Daniel Edwards is dead along with Elyse James. But did Elyse commit suicide? Miller is going to find out, and he's going to use those rose colored glasses he found in Edwards' apartment to help. He misses Callie St Claire, and she's nowhere to be found. As the plot thickens, Miller makes some amazing discoveries about Elyse and her family. He also discovers some disturbing information about his own family. Then as the twists and turns continue to spiral, he learns more about those glasses and himself. Miller finally finds comfort in being with Callie again, but those glasses and what drives them haunts him. Potts delivers a very intriguing sequel, but wait there's more to come. 4 Stars

A definite hit!

Looking at the world through rose-colored glasses takes on an entirely new meaning, especially for Det. Jonathan Miller, who gained the literal glasses. An amazing view of situations past and present, life and death helps Miller see the truth about many things, but he doesn't always see the truth about who he can and can't trust. I love that. No story should have all the answers. I find the story very magical and thrilling! The characters have a great chemistry, especially Jonathan and Callie. I thoroughly enjoyed the story that brings a sense of romance, suspense, and intrigue -- especially when it comes to Daeva, who is creepy yet very interesting.

Miller's View: Book Four. Detective Jonathan Miller and Callie St. Claire are now married and honeymooning on the Island of the Dead. The police find a woman murdered and her companion badly beaten, Miller is accused. He convinces Detective Laura Newman to allow him to help in her investigation. Eventually, the pair solves that case, but uncover a lead in a cold case. When Miller and Newman solve the cold case, Miller returns to Lousiana and his new bride. Potts again displays the ability to unveil little secrets that enhance the plot. Her stories are inviting and easy to read in spite of the technical errors.
